This is an excellent communication tool for discussions regarding all things Centricity RIS-IW. Being a DIAMOND member provides the option to sign up for the email listserv. You can share ideas on a real-time basis and have another opportunity for GE to hear directly from users about their needs. GE representatives are also members of the listserv and will respond as appropriate.

The DIAMOND Listserv (DIAMOND-L) is a benefit available exclusively to DIAMOND members. The listserv provides a forum for the free exchange of ideas and information for current and soon-to-be users of the Centricity PACS-IW family of products.

A primary benefit of the listserv is the ability to ask a question, whether simple or complex, and receive feedback almost instantly from your peers.

Another not-so-obvious benefit of membership on the list is that GE Healthcare listens to what you have to say about their product.  GE Healthcare will not, as a general rule, post messages on the list however they do have representation on the list.  They may respond directly to the DIAMOND member that posts a question, or to a member of the DIAMOND Executive Committee, so that we can facilitate an answer. 

There are some guidelines for the use of DIAMOND-L. They are not hard to follow or remember, however, they are important. Please take a moment to read the guidelines.

Are you taking full advantage of this member benefit? If you are already a DIAMOND member, subscribe to the DIAMOND listserv by submitting a membership update form to DIAMOND. If you are not currently a DIAMOND member, submit your membership application (your first year of membership is free) and opt-into the listserv at the same time.

How do I submit a question to the listserv?

Is there a web interface for the listserv?
Yes. The address is http://home.ease.lsoft.com/scripts/wa.exe?A0=DIAMOND-L. The first time you visit the site, you will need to create a log-in. On the opening page, on the right under “options,” choose get password. Follow the instructions on the screen. Once you have created your password you will receive a confirmation email. Follow the instructions in the confirmation email and you will be able to login in to the web interface. The web interface allows you to change your preferences, post to the list directly, view archives and much more.

I sent a question to the list and it was rejected. What do I do now?
DIAMOND-L is a listserv for members of the DIAMOND User Group only. If you are a member of DIAMOND, complete a membership update form and select yes under "join listserv." You will be notified when you have been added to the listserv. If you are not a member of DIAMOND, visit the membership page to view membership qualifications and complete an application.

Are the discussions archived?
Yes, you may view the archives by visiting http://home.ease.lsoft.com/scripts/wa.exe?A0=DIAMOND-L. The first time you visit the archives, you will need to create a log-in. On the opening page, on the right under “options,” choose "get password." Follow the instructions on the screen. Once you have created your password, you will receive a confirmation email. Follow the instructions in the confirmation email and you will be able to login to view the archives.

I don’t see DIAMOND-L in the list names-how do I view the archives?
You can click on the list name under “my lists” in the “subscribers corner.” Or in “email lists,” type the list name (DIAMOND-L) in the search box under “access unlisted lists.”

Can I subscribe or unsubscribe myself?
Yes, once logged into http://home.ease.lsoft.com/scripts/wa.exe?A0=DIAMOND-L click “subscriber’s corner” in upper left corner of the page. Choose the tab that says “my settings.” Click on “settings” next to the list name. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the unsubscribe button.

To resubscribe, log in using the same email address and password previously created, click on “email lists,” type the list name (DIAMOND-L) in the search box; choose the subscribe/unsubscribe link in the options box on the new page, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the subscribe button.
