Networking – Get to know your fellow PACS/RIS managers and other
colleagues in the imaging informatics profession. Many challenges can be
resolved through networking with your fellow users. DIAMOND affords its members
a micro view of how other radiology departments operate without ever having to
leave your office. Join forces with other sites that may share your same needs.
A team effort can create change.
Dynamic Imaging User Forum - Dynamic Imaging has recently
launched the Dynamic Imaging
User Forum, your free online resource for collaborating with your
IntegradWeb peers worldwide. While DIAMOND membership is not a
requirement for access to the Dynamic Imaging User Forum there is a
separate forum dedicated to DIAMOND issues, which is moderated by the
DIAMOND Chairman John Griffith.
Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) –
As a member of DIAMOND, you also have a voice in SIIM. SIIM has long-standing
relationships with vendors that are also corporate members. As an added benefit,
SIIM institutional members receive a 50% discount on their DIAMOND membership
dues.
SIIM News – DIAMOND members periodically receive a complimentary issue of
SIIM
News. This Society newsletter, published quarterly, contains feature articles,
case studies, educational content, product information, and industry trends, in
addition to Society and SIIM Annual Meeting news.
Enhancement Requests – In addition to the communication vehicle provided through
the Dynamic Imaging User Forum, a Dynamic Imaging representative will also attend your
user group meetings. This unique vendor access provides an excellent opportunity
to submit your enhancement requests.
Member's Only Access - As a DIAMOND member, you have exclusive
access to meeting minutes, meeting presentations, and other information
available at the members' only area of the DIAMOND web site.
Advocacy - Participate in third-party vendor sessions when you need assistance
from the group to mediate issues.
Earn CEUs – The annual DIAMOND educational user group meeting, held in
conjunction with the SIIM annual meeting, affords DIAMOND members the
opportunity to earn CEUs. Further maximize your DIAMOND membership experience by
taking advantage of all the SIIM Annual Meeting educational offerings, and earn
additional CEUs. CEUs are awarded by ASRT.
Independence – DIAMOND is a self-governed user group managed by an executive
committee, which is elected by its membership.
Administrative Management – User group communications and administrative support
(e.g., dues invoicing, meeting logistics, management of the membership database,
sponsorships, web site and list serve maintenance, etc.) are managed by the
DIAMOND user group manager. |
